Day 1: Colombo- Sigiriya
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo and meet our local representative at the airport. Get transferred to the hotel in Sigiriya. En route, visit a foster home of elephants. After approximately an hour’s drive, arrive at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Spend quality time with these gigantic, yet kind animal breed and watch elephant feeding and bathing sessions. Then head to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day at leisure. You can either unwind on the sun-kissed beaches or visit a local fishing village located nearby. Spend the overnight at the hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 2: Sigiriya- Kandy
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Later proceed to visit Sigiriya rock fortress at an additional cost. Also known as ‘Lion Rock’, Sigiriya is one of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating UNESCO World HeritageSites. After this visit, we shall head to Kandy. Visit the Spice Garden in Matale at an optional cost and see the luscious cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and vanilla plants. Check-in at a hotel in Kandy and relax for an overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 3: Kandy
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a visit to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardensat an additional cost, which features more than 4,000 species of plants. Leave by late afternoon for an evening city tour of Kandy and explore the top landmarks and attractions of this city such as Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts and Craft Centre, Gem museum and the Temple of Tooth Relic. In the evening, enjoy a Kandyan dance performance. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy- Nuwaraeliya
Enjoy a buffet breakfast today morning. Complete your check-out formalities and proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route, you shall visit the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. You will also stop at the Ramboda Falls. Later on, visit the famous tea gardens of Nuwara Eliya with an insightful tour of the tea manufacturing process. Close to Hakgala Botanical Garden is the popular Seetha Amman Temple. The temple is located in a village called Seetha Eliya. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5: Nuwaraeliya- Bentota
A sumptuous breakfast will be followed by the check-out process. Then we shall depart for Bentota. Time permitting we shall visit either St Clears or Devon waterfall. Arrive in Bentota and complete your check-in procedure. Today afternoon promises to be an interesting lifetime experience as we visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery. Rest of the afternoon is yours to spend as you please. Enjoy the various beach activities available in Bentota and just chill at your resort. Spend a peaceful overnight Stay in Bentota.
Day 6: Bentota- Colombo
After breakfast. Check-out from the hotel. After approximately three-hour drive, arrive in Colombo. Enjoy a half-day city tour of this city by visiting Fort District of Colombo, Colombo National Museum, while driving through Pettah, a colourful Oriental bazaar. After the city tour, catch up with some shopping as Sri Lanka is known for excellent products at rock bottom prices. Head to Bandaranaike InternationalAirport in Colombo to catch your flight back home with beautiful memories of amazing Sri Lanka.
